Mercury Baroque Ensemble: A Day in Venice, 1725 2 p.m., Bayou Theater. The Mercury Baroque Ensemble will take the audience on an aural tour of Venice in 1725 using period instruments and historically accurate performance methods. Garcia y Reyna 8 p.m., Bayou Theater. Classical guitarists Jeremy S. Garcia and Rosendo Reyna join forces to create their own style of “neuvo flamenco.” Together with percussionist Jim Bedinghaus and bassist Richard Saldivar, the group performs original compositions in a lively performance.
